Today’s stats: 20 miles/1800 ft elevation. Today was our longest walking day so far. We’ve now covered a third of the way to Santiago.

After getting a truly restful night’s sleep, we started our day in a good mood and with lots of energy. The carrot dangling in front of us had been the beautiful house on the hill side, our home away from home for tonight. Many a time, vacation rentals turn out to be less than expected. Not this one. It’s just perfect in every way. The CDs selection is outstanding. Relaxing to great music and amazing views is our reward for a hard day’s work. Life is good. Buen Camino!
